Here is another video from our sledding trip. It is of Carson the first time he went down the hill by himself. I love how you can hear him laughing.

Christmas
We had a wonderful Christmas this year and hope you did too.
On Christmas Eve we stayed in Rexburg and enjoyed the day together as a family. We ran a few errands around town and then came back and shoveled snow. Since it was the holiday, The Village hadn't shoveled out the sidewalks. Jeff decided to buy a shovel so we could at least get into our apartment (I think we got well over 6 inches on Christmas Eve). We also bought Carson a shovel and he put it to use helping Daddy. That night we went over to see Grandpa Birch and Uncle Jason. Carson got an airplane and a train set from Grandpa.
We stayed home Christmas morning. Carson was very excited that Santa had left him a fire truck and a tent. This year Santa left boxed cereal and juices in our stockings for breakfast, something that Jeff's family did when he was little.

After breakfast we went down to Grandpa Butler's house. Carson got another fire truck and a new train set. Then we went over to Grandma's house where Santa had left Carson a new tool bench. My mom and step-dad always do big Christmases, if you can't tell from all the wrapping paper! Carson had a lot of fun playing in the wrapping paper and with his cousin Abbie.
We were barely able to fit everything we received into the truck! We are very thankful for all that we were given and for the knowledge that we have a Savior who was born and died for us.

16 Weeks
Last Saturday we went in for our 16 week check up. We were able to hear the baby's heartbeat. It is sitting on the left side, something I already knew because I definitely have felt more pressure on that side. Carson was attached on the right side, so I guess that is one difference between them. Dr. Allred was really nice and told me that since I had just finished student teaching that I would probably feel the stress reaction for the next month. He told me that if I felt the urge to nap not to fight it. I think I've taken it to heart because I slept a lot today, but I have just felt so tired. We scheduled our next appointment for January 11th, and we will be able to have our ultrasound then. I am way excited because I had to wait until I was 23-24 weeks with Carson.
On a random note, I just got a CD of pics from my dad and this one was on it. It is a picture of me two weeks before I had Carson. I don't even look pregnant, just fat. Hopefully I will at least look pregnant with this one.

Two Little Monkeys Jumping on a Bed
Today Chandler came over to visit while his mommy went to the doctor. I went into Carson's room and found them doing this. Cute!

Ward Party
Check out Tiffany's blog for a cute video of Carson and Chandler at the ward party. They had so much fun together, I was sure that they had worn themselves out! The exact opposite happened and Carson didn't go to bed until almost 11. He keeps telling me he, "I want to go party again!" Hmmm..... I'll have to watch him as a teenager.
Snow Day
Well, I haven't posted in a while and that it because I have been busy finishing up my student teaching. I am officially done!! No more school!! It feels awesome to finally have a Bachelor's Degree. Life is a little crazy right now with Carson and Mommy adjusting to being home together. Jeff is finishing up at the temple and we don't know what we'll do after that. We might be transferring with the company, but we're still seeking inspiration on what to do.
Today Carson woke up bright and early at 7:30. As soon as he saw the new snow he insisted on going outside. I was able to distract him with breakfast and getting dressed until about 9:00, but then he insisted that he go build a snowman. So I let him go out on the balcony and play in the snow.
