This year is different from other years because we finally have a yard to go work in. Over the past month and a half Jeff has been outside taking measurements so he can get doing our landscape. You see, we have and HOA, and if we don't get our yard done on time we get a $50 a day fine until it is in. That means our tax return will probably be going to our yard. So, Jeff has started drawing up our landscape design because we have to submit it to our HOA for approval. {By the way, can I tell you how much we HATE HATE HATE having an HOA...its just another form of communism.} Anyways, here is the start of his plan...he'll probably not like me posting it because it isn't finished.

Spring Fever
Living in Utah has its pros and cons. One of those pros being that we have milder winters than Southeast Idaho. Our snow melted a few weeks ago and the forecast for this week is for sun and it the lower 50's. You know what that means...spring fever!

And here is the before shot of our backyard.
This is the sandbox area we started working on last fall. The boys climbing dome (that they got for Christmas) is going to go in it...that way they have something soft to fall on!

Can't wait to see what it looks like when it's done!
And I can't tell you how jealous I am that you guys have spring already!!!!!
Yeah for you!! We are in the same boat as you guys, we finally have a yard to work in! Fortunately, we were able to find a home not in an HOA. Hope things go quick and easy for you!
Good luck with the yard. It looks like lots or work. Good luck getting it done on time for the HOA. That is one thing that you really don't have to worry about to much most places in Idaho. Hope all is going well with your boys.
