Change

Does anyone else have boxes and boxes of their kids old clothes?? My basement has about 5 or 6 tubs full of little boy clothes. Yesterday we went "shopping" in our basement and pulled out "new" clothes for both Mason and Jonas. It was time I stopped stretching the 0-3 month clothes to try to fit my 80th percentile 3 month old...and time I bumped Jonas up into the 24 month/2T stuff.

Today I'm excited to dress my boys in their "new" clothes. I was happy to note that many of the clothes are still in excellent shape, so I literally feel like they are getting a new wardrobe. After taking stock of all that I have, I will only have to buy a few things to make their wardrobes complete....some khaki church pants for Jonas and some pajamas for Mason. Its such a blessing that I invested in some good qualilty clothes that are able to go through 3 boys and still look nice.

Its funny how opening up a box of old clothes can bring back so many memories. Most of the 3-6 month clothes are the clothes Jonas was wearing when we moved to Utah...I seriously feel like I just packed up those clothes! And the new clothes I pulled out for Jonas, are the clothes that Carson was wearing the summer before I went to go student teach...and when I got pregnant with Jonas.

Anyways, I guess I'm saying that I can't believe how quickly they grow up! I mean it feels like yesterday Jonas was wearing this...
...and now Mason is in it. Just can't believe it.

One reason I was frustrated when Ryan's defense date was pushed back, is because I have SIX totes in our garage, FULL of clothes!!! I need to rotate them so badly, but don't dare pull them all out until he is done with homework and research. :)

My mom did the same thing with us each season...it's funny to see my sister 15 years younger than I wearing my clothes! LOL!

Can't go wrong with some good quality clothes. :)

I'm the same way! I can't wait until my mother-in-law brings our baby clothes this weekend so I can "look" at them! I'm always excited when Asher finally gets to wear a new item of clothing.

That's fun that you have the same picture of Jonas and Mason in the same things. It's funny how clothes can bring back memories.
