Last Thursday was my birthday. When Jeff asked me what kind of a cake I wanted, I had (jokingly) told him a princess one....I needed something girly living in a house full of boys! So this is what I got--complete with a Sleeping Beauty ring. I must note here that Sleeping Beauty was my favorite princess when I was little, so bonus points to Jeff for even remembering that!
What birthday wouldn't be complete without presents? From my boys, I got two of my favorite things: fabric (Moda's Freebird by MoMo collection, which I currently can't get enough of) and New Moon. A perfect combination since I like to turn on movies for background noise while I sew into the wee hours of the night. And I've been doing quite a bit of sewing lately, but more about that in a later post. BTW, is anyone else getting excited to go see
