Carson is going to be a big brother!
We are excited to announce the new addition to our family. Our new baby is due May 29, 2008. We went in for our first doctors appointment yesterday. Dr. Barton said that the baby is two-thirds inch long and has a very strong heart beat. I must admit that I was very nervous for the ultrasound after having an ultrasound in May just to find out that the baby didn't have a heartbeat. Carson was excited because we had told him that we were going to go see the new baby on the "TV screen". He insists that he is having a brother and that he is going to name him Mack. I'm not so sure on the name. We are all just hoping for a healthy child. If it is another boy we have no idea what to name him. I used up my only boy name on Carson. I do however, like the name Mathew, but we'll have to wait and see. We do have a girls name picked out but Jeff doesn't want to tell anyone about it yet. I think it is another boy, Mom thinks it is a girl (she was right guessing about Carson and Abbie, so who knows), and Dad thinks it is a girl too. Jeff doesn't have an opinion. When I asked him last night about it, he said he was still trying to get used to the idea of having two children. But then he added, "Could you imagine two Carson's, we'd go crazy!" I agree with him!

We are almost nine weeks into this pregnancy. Once we hit the twelve week mark I think I'll be less nervous. Everyday I worry that a miscarriage might happen again. However, this pregnancy has been completely different from the miscarriage and we haven't had any problems yet. We feel very blessed to have gotten pregnant again so quickly after the miscarriage. We know that we have been watched out for and that we can't always do things on our own timing.

Sara, I can finally congratulate you in public! Yea for baby #2! P.S. Matt will love it if you choose Mathew as a name...he spells it with 1 t too!
You could name him "Beverage" and call him "Bev" for short. Works for a boy or a girl.

I didn't even know that you were pregnant. I know that I haven't kept in touch as much as I should have. I loved the pictures of carson. I think that it will be a girl this time.
