Saturday was also very busy for us. I spent part of the day making Jeff's costume. We had decided that I was going to go as a devil and Jeff was going to go as an angel. We didn't want Jeff to look like a girly angel so we decided to skip the wings and halo and instead he ended up looking like some Old Testament prophet. We went to our ward carnival last night. Carson finally got to wear his Firefighter costume. The only problem was that he refused to wear his hat and he ended up wanting the coat taken off. We had a lot of fun. I made Jeff bob for apples so I could have a caramel apple. It took him for ever but he finally got it. In this picture, the kid is not Carson. It is some boy from our ward who was having fun watching Jeff.

Halloween Carnival
Whew! What a busy weekend we had. Friday night we went to a Halloween Carnival at Burton Elementary with the Milners. Shannon teaches at the school and invited us to come. Carson had so much fun playing at the carnival. He played Plinko, got his face painted so he looked like Harry Potter, and went "fishing" for candy. He loved the fishing booth and didn't want to leave. He collected enough tickets that he was able to redeem them for a plastic sword. After the carnival we went to Wal-Mart and shopped for costumes. Then we went over to Matt and Shannon's and watched Transformers, a movie Jeff had been wanting to see for a long time.
I finished up the night with a huge stomach ache from the caramel apple. Here is all of us together just before we left.
After the Carnival we went over to Marshall and Tiffany's and watched Evan Almighty. It made two late nights out, but we wouldn't have it any other way. Its nice to have friends to do things with. It beats sitting at home wondering what to do!
Carson got to go fishing again. This time he won a bag of candy and a glow stick. Here he is with Jeff.(Marshall is in the background, he was helping Chandler fish.)

I really thought Jeff resembled a catholic priest! It must have been the wrap around his shoulders! I'm sorry...I should have known from the evening of shopping and costume-decision making!
Cute pictures - love the family one. It's always nice to have friends, isn't it? :)
