On July 23, my little man turned 5. That's half a decade! 5 has been a hard birthday for me. That means Carson is getting to be a big boy...and I'm just not ready to have one of those yet!
We started off the day with a party. Carson invited his friends and cousins over for a swimming party.

First we opened presents....

And then the boys played on the slip n slide and in the pool.

Later that night, Carson opened some more presents from Mommy and Daddy and Grandma. The boy was so spoiled this year! Among his favorite toys are his bucket of army soldiers, Jessie & Bullseye (from Toy Story), a transformer, and a toy garbage truck.

Oh, and this mug from Grandma...he
adores it.
Carson feels like such a big boy now. In fact, he also has his first loose tooth, and he asks all the time when it is going to fall out. I'm just not sure I'm ready for all of this...loosing teeth, going to school....
Happy Birthday, little man, we have had an amazing five years with you!
