Today we gave Jonas his first big haircut. Back in April I'd had a few hairs trimmed on his head, but tonight was his first major all around haircut. I knew when he woke up this morning with his hair sticking out everywhere that it was finally time! Plus he likes to rub the back of his head while he is eating and his hair usually ends up full of food. Here is a picture of him this morning...after I had somewhat smoothed his hair down.
Here he is getting ready for the haircut! He did remarkably well with the clippers. He didn't scream or try to get away like his older brother used to. He was just curious about the clippers and wanted to see and touch them.

The after shot...kinda hard to tell a difference, but I buzzed him to 1/2 inch.
I admit, I will miss his Conan O'Brien hairdo, its so classically Jonas, but at least it will be easier for me to wipe the food out of his hair.

Cool lookin' hairdo! We keep our boys hair short like that. Even Chase who is 10 months has gotten several haircuts. It is just easier, like you said, to keep clean! You did a good job!
