Free Food Night

Last night was "free food night" for the Birch family. We went to a Bees game on Friday night (awesome BTW, they had a great fireworks show!) and since they won we could go show our tickets at Sonic and get free large drinks. Pictured below: Carson's Sprite, my green apple slushie, and Jeff's rootbeer. And since the Bees struck out 7 players we could also show our tickets at Sconecutter and get free scones. Larry gave us all eight tickets so we were able to get the three drinks and five scones.
What they looked like on the inside, smothered with honeybutter.

Then we went to Chick-Fil-A and got two free kids meals. We received vouchers for them when we signed up for the summer reading program.
So not exactly the healthiest dinner, but it was free! We figured that all of it together would have cost over $20.
After dinner we went to look at our hole again and of course no concrete was poured. However, we were able to meet our future neighbors and learn a little bit about our new ward. There are 300 kids in the Primary! Holy cow, does that seem ridiculous to anyone else?

Yum! Love good deals, and all the food looks yummy. You guys are becoming quite the Bees fans. That's nuts that your primary has that many kids, but in the same sense I'm not surprised. Someone needs to give your contractor a kick in the butt to get going on your house!

Nothing like free food! 300 kids!? That is crazy! We have about 85 and it can be a huge handful!

I have a friend that lives in eaglesprings there in Utah. She said that her primary is really big that they had three nursaries. I love free things! What a fun and inexpensive way to spend time together as a family.
