Today was our first excursion from the apartment since we came home from the hospital last Thursday. I took Jonas to the Pediatrician for his well baby check up. He is now 8lbs 8 oz and 21 inches long. This boy sure does have an appetite...I feel like I am feeding him all of the time! The doctor wants me to monitor him for another week with the acid reflux and if he's still having problems they'll test him. He doesn't think it is a serious situation because Jonas has gained some weight. After the doctors office we went up to the hospital to do the second metabolic screening. It made me so sad to hear Jonas screaming while they were trying to squeeze blood out of his foot. It seemed like it took forever!
While I was out running Jonas around, Carson went over to see
TyLee. He didn't want to leave since he loves playing in their backyard. When we got home he insisted on bringing some rocks upstairs from the planting beds in front of the apartment. Instead of fighting him I decided it would be a great opportunity for craft time and we painted his rocks and then he named them after
Toy Story characters (surprise, surprise).
I think I am finally starting to feel better. Tomorrow I have a doctor appointment to check my incision and see how it is healing, so it will be another busy day for us.

Sounds like you had a full day!!! Painting rocks...maybe that's what we need to do at our house! Fun stuff!
