We've held off as long as we could. We've squished three kids into the back seat of our cars for almost two years. We've been an anomaly in Utah, where the birth of a third child usually means you make the switch to a mini-van or suburban. With our fourth little man due to make his appearance in the next few months, we had no choice. We finally had to make the switch.
We feel so blessed at how everything just fell into place for us. Extra overtime so we could save up money...being able to sell our Yukon...and a posting from my cousin about a mini-van he needed to sell. Sometimes things just seem to work together for you...this was one of those times for us.
And we are so very, very thankful.

I LOVE It!!! I'd love to have a review on it...if you're up for it. We'll be making a switch this spring and are looking at all our options. No bun in the oven, but we need to replace both cars...I think we'll have to convert to a minivan for one.
Welcome to the Club!!! Love the color!! LOL
Deanna-Well so far we have loved it! We talked to a lot of people and all around the Dodge Grand Caravan was recommended the most...even by those who owned different makes. I shopped around, and one of the things I learned about it is that its the same van as the Volkswagen Routan (which has had a lot of good reviews). They are made at the same place just given different body styles, but same engine and everything else. One of the great advantages of the Caravan is that it has the Stow n Go seating where the seats fold right into the floor. We're pretty lucky because ours also has DVD players, back-up camera, and a 16G hard drive to store music/videos.
Alisha-Jeff says he wants to know if there is a fee associated with being in the minivan club.
LOL And yes, I thought of you when I saw the color! I really wanted a white or silver one, but my cousin was selling his at such a good price that we couldn't pass it up just because of the color!
You got it! It looks so nice, what a great blessing. I think it's a pretty good looking vehicle too. :)
You will love all the extra space. Squishing three kids in the back seat of a car is NOT FUN!!!! I was sooooooo glad when we finally upgraded to our honda pilot :) I wanted a mini van because they are awesome with getting access to the back bench, and good gas milege but my husband said that he would not be caught dead in one....so we compromised.
So jealous that you go to see my brother and not me. So glad that you were able to get a bigger car. We are looking forward to the day when we will be able to afford something bigger. Three carseats in the back of our 5 passenger car is so CROWDED!!! Plus, we can NEVER take anyone else with us in the car. Our family barely fits. Hope all is going well for you. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
