...an almost finished top to my Wallflower quilt. I just need to put the border on and then blanket stitch around all the applique, but that will have to wait because I'm now feeling confident enough to get sewing on that other quilt! However, with family in town for the weekend, it might be Monday before I get started...I'll have to post some pictures of that one when I get it done. Its a different kind of quilt, one I haven't done before and I'm excited for the challenge.

Quilting
Some of you may know that my Aunt has commissioned me to make a keepsake quilt. I've been getting everything prepped and ready to go on it, but I have been a little nervous about actually putting it together as it has many cherished items that will go into it. I've been feeling a little rusty as I haven't sewn for over a month, so last night I decided I would get some practice time in before I tackled her quilt. I'd rather mess up on something of my own rather than someone else's project! I stayed up until 1 AM, and here is the result...

That is SO BEAUTIFUL!!! I LOVE IT!!! I'm jealous you get to work on something so pretty and fun...My project during conference is to do blackout roman shades for my boys...it's been on our to-dp list for over three months. :) Wanna trade? :)
