Christmas

We had a wonderful Christmas this year and hope you did too.

On Christmas Eve we stayed in Rexburg and enjoyed the day together as a family. We ran a few errands around town and then came back and shoveled snow. Since it was the holiday, The Village hadn't shoveled out the sidewalks. Jeff decided to buy a shovel so we could at least get into our apartment (I think we got well over 6 inches on Christmas Eve). We also bought Carson a shovel and he put it to use helping Daddy. That night we went over to see Grandpa Birch and Uncle Jason. Carson got an airplane and a train set from Grandpa.
We stayed home Christmas morning. Carson was very excited that Santa had left him a fire truck and a tent. This year Santa left boxed cereal and juices in our stockings for breakfast, something that Jeff's family did when he was little.

After breakfast we went down to Grandpa Butler's house. Carson got another fire truck and a new train set. Then we went over to Grandma's house where Santa had left Carson a new tool bench. My mom and step-dad always do big Christmases, if you can't tell from all the wrapping paper! Carson had a lot of fun playing in the wrapping paper and with his cousin Abbie.

We were barely able to fit everything we received into the truck! We are very thankful for all that we were given and for the knowledge that we have a Savior who was born and died for us.
